Emily and Judgie are two of the sweetest humans I have had the chance to connect with, and I could not have been more honored to have been chosen as their photographer for their wedding day at the beautiful Valley View Farm in Haydenville, MA.

It was one of the hottest days of the summer, but that didn’t stop the two of them from having the day of their dreams! The day started with getting ready, where the guys took over the cider barn and the girls began in the farmhouse. Once makeup & hair were done, the girls moved to the loft where Emily put on her absolutely stunning dress!

I took the couple to a shaded spot in the forest for her first look and private vow exchange. I can’t talk enough about how much I love when couples choose to do this! It gives couples the chance for a true moment together, a bit of space away from the hustle and bustle of the day, and reading their vows in private allows for feelings to be shared in the most genuine and wholesome way.

Their ceremony was short and sweet, performed by one of their close friends under the shade of the pavilion! They exchanged traditional “I do’s”, and followed up with a perfect first kiss amidst applause from their family and friends.

After a few moments of private time between the two of them, I took Emily and Judgie to the field for their portrait session, where we used the vintage truck for some stunning and unique photos that I absolutely fell in love with! Another unique thing at Valley View is the ability to take photos with the friendly horses on the property, and we got some incredible portraits with the horses in front of the beautiful sunset before heading back into the reception for final dance photos.

Valley View is truly one of my favorite venues – it is the perfect mix of upscale, vintage, and rustic with great staff and crew to make sure every part of the day goes perfectly!
